Differences Between Offline Mode and Freemode

Offline Mode
Offline mode is used when there is a local internet outage or when DoorAPI is unreachable. In this mode, all card/QR scans are automatically accepted. Please note, however, that the device must be online initially to activate offline mode. If offline mode is disabled, all card/QR scans will be rejected during such outages. By default, offline mode is disabled.

Freemode
Freemode is a temporary setting that allows all card/QR scans to be accepted when your CRM system is experiencing issues. Once your CRM system is back online, you can press the Check Mode button to validate all card/QR scans again with your CRM provider.

Changing Settings
You can change these settings by navigating to the Access module, selecting Readers, and then pressing Reader Settings on the device you wish to modify.
